August 30, 2007 (Boca Raton, FL) - The Haven is proud to announce the receipt of
a $9,255 grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
The grant will support the purchase of reference books and workbooks, as well as
school supplies for the young men.
As integral components of the AIM tutoring program, the books will assist the
young men with their homework and give them additional outlets for practicing
their school lessons.
"The workbooks should prove to be especially helpful," said Angie Bailey,
program director. "They will allow our boys to practice skills and concepts that
may be challenging and will be another means for grade improvement. We are
grateful that the Community Foundation believes in our mission."
Founded in 1972, the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties
builds endowment funds that will benefit communities today, tomorrow and

Environment, Health and Human Services, Human and Race Relations, and
