June 11, 2007 (Boca Raton, FL) - The Haven, an
alternative home for young men ages 9 up to 18, is proud to announce the receipt
of a $10,000 grant for general operations from The Schmidt Family Foundation.
"The Schmidt Family Foundation has been a major supporter of The Haven for many
years," said Don Stewart, The Haven's executive director. "They truly believe in
our program and they are committed to helping our community. We are very
thankful for their continued support."
Since 2000, The Schmidt Family Foundation has donated $128,000 to The Haven.
"Assistance to The Haven has been heartfelt by our Foundation due to the
wonderful work and unending commitment of Don Stewart and the staff and
volunteers who make things happen for the young men in their care," said Maria
Levix, executive director of The Schmidt Family Foundation. "We are proud to
partner with such a fine organization."
The Schmidt Family Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to helping
