Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day
April 25, 2006 - Ben & Jerry's (9924 Glades Road and 6000 Glades Road)
Ben & Jerry's 28th annual Free Cone Day, held April 25, raised more than
$1,200.00 for the young men living at The Haven. "We were particularly pleased
to partner again with The Haven this year," said Marianne Medina, franchise
owner of both Ben & Jerry's locations in Boca Raton. "They do so much for the
boys who have been placed in their protective care. It was an honor to scoop
side by side with these folks." The Haven is grateful to franchisees Pedro and
Marianne Medina, owners of both Boca Raton stores and another in Deerfield
Beach, for partnering with us for the second year in a row. Thank you!
Off the Beaten Path
April 20, 2006 - Fitzy's
The night included delicious appetizers, plenty of drinks, good music and fun!
Marcy Leefar, of Original Personalized Gifts, gave tarot card and numerology
readings. Hosted by JKG Printing, this event raised $2,000 for the young men at
The Haven.

Laugh for PATH
February 25. 2006 – Coral Springs Center for the Arts
PATH's biggest event yet, Laugh for PATH proved to be a wild night of hilarious comedy. Proceeds from the ticket sales and auction raised more than $10,000 for The Haven. Prior to the show, VIP guests enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner buffet that included chicken parmesan, sea bass and baked ziti. The show was hosted by Randy Singer, with entertainment provided by Ramon Garcia, Tomahawk, Shon Greene and Dexter Angry. Great Atlantic Warranty, Inc. and First Commerce Finance Corp. helped sponsor the evening.

Founders' Day Luncheon
February 18, 2006 – The Haven
In conjunction with The Haven's 30th anniversary, the organization hosted a
BBQ luncheon to honor its founders. Throughout the day, guests were
invited to tour the campus, learn about The Haven's history and talk with
our boys. Executive Director, Don Stewart, honored those founders who
attended the luncheon: Mr. John Dodge (first Board of Directors), Mr. Aubrey Ewing (first Executive Director), Mr. Bill Plum (first Board of Directors), Mrs. Barbara Rosacker (first Board of Directors) and Dr. Arthur Trask (founder).
Mellon Bank graciously assisted with some of the event expenses.

Sake and Jazz on the Ave
January 19, 2006 – Kyoto Sushi and Sake Lounge
The night included unlimited sushi, as well as sake, wine and beer. Marcy Leefar, of Original Personalized Gifts, gave numerology and tarot card readings and students of the Kung Fu Conservatory, Inc., gave impressive kung fu demonstrations. The event was hosted by Imperial Title and Escrow, with additional support from www.livingfla.com, Brown Distributing and National Distributing Company.

Barefoot Champagne Cruise
December 2, 2005 - Boca Raton
The cruise was hosted by Mellon Bank, with additional support from Tim and Jeanette Lewis, Potions in Motion, Mrs. B's Baskets, and the Center For Progressive Healing. This wildly successful event raised more than $3,000, and everyone had a blast.
